Introduction to a hope of improvement

A child becomes very sick due to cancer. He is transported to a hospital for treatment. His mother however does not have the insurance to cover the costs for his treatment. She works hard day and night to try to pay off the expenses but it is not enough. The child eventually dies from cancer. In our current economy, many Americans cannot get the right amount of health care because of its costs and the lack of resources to provide enough care. The citizens of the United States are in desperate need of health reform. We need to improve the wellness and health of our nation because too many people are falling ill and dying from matters that can be prevented with the right initiatives and treatment. For reform to happen, the government needs to help.
As I continue writing these blogs, I will explore how healthcare is affect the citizens of America and the plans and actions the government uses to improve health in the United States. I will talk about how Americans can avoid being due to lack of health practices. I also will talk about ways people can help change the health system and live healthier lives. I am a student at a university who is majoring in Biology. Although I am a novice at the issues of health care reform, I believe it is an important that needs to be improved. Health reform needs to take place in America in order to improve the lives for many citizens.

  1. The story that you told is depressing, but I'm sad to say that it does happen.

Why deny sick people of treatment simply because they do not have insurance or the ability to pay for it? Money is scarce and does not grow on trees.

There is a line between rich and poor when it comes to healthcare. The rich have few problems of obtaining treatment and scheduling follow-ups. However, the poor have more difficultly due to financial troubles.

Then green rectangular piece of paper that Americans use has a lot of value...

  2. America's capitalism has no mercy especially for the poor. The rich do not care for anyone as long as money keeps coming in. If anyone pushes for the poor to be included, that fellow is label a liberal or left wing politically. What a country that refuses to help their own but would push billions of dollars to fight various wars whether justified or not. To be frank, some politicians would rather give universal healthcare to other countries in the name of "America's Security Interest" than her own people. What a mess!

It is strange sometime to see how some of the politicians reason especially the so called conservatives. What is wrong with government option for carrying out loud? If the government option has the "opt in" or "opt out" for states to excerise, why can't the politicians vote the bill as it is. They should reason and give us a healthcare package that is inclusive, competitive, less costly and that can help control the deficit. Why are the Republicans and some Democrates feel like this healthcare will make or break Obama. No, that's not the case. The case is, Americans want universal healthcare that will save cost, work fine, last long and never breaks.

What is this argument of rushing to pass a comprehensive healthcare? This has lingered for decades, so the time to pass it is now. The town hall meetings are over, the yelling and shouting are over, whether you are a liberal or conservative is immaterial. Let's have a comprehensive healthcare plan that covers all, period. Pass it now or never, some people are dying.
